The Proofread: You’re all done and itching to hit send. I can proofread your manuscript to sweep away the typos, misspellings and various little errors your eyes can no longer see after all the time you’ve spent with your work. Base fee: £250 for 40,000 words. Your book is longer than that? Add an additional £50 per 10,000 words.

The Proofread and Assessment: All of the above and a reader report detailing the manuscript’s strengths and weaknesses, a list of three comp titles and an honest opinion of whether I think the novel is query-ready. Base fee: £350 for 40,000 words, an additional £50 per 10,000 words.

The Copyedit: A proofread and assessment along with in-line comments and track changes. Send me a list of particular questions and concerns and I will address each one in the reader report detailing the manuscript’s strengths and weaknesses as well as suggestions for any further changes. Base fee: £450 for 40,000 words, an additional £60 per 10,000 words.
